Description

 You can choose between the Contour15 and ­Contour25. The former is a planer which can also profile depths up to 15 mm. If there are no profile cutters installed in the ­cutter block, then the T45 Contour15 is a fully-fledged planer. Whereas with the Contour25 you can profile a depth up to 25 mm and plane to a restricted degree. For example, to ­realise profiles that could only otherwise be implemented by far more expensive, specialist machines.

Both machines are, as with the planer T45, ­equipped with an efficient control unit, whose ­storage capacity is particularly advantageous in profiling work. The precise positioning of the thicknessing table, with an accuracy of 0.1 mm, is as important for profiling as it is for planing. ­Furthermore, the Contour machine's control system recognises if profile cutters have been in­serted into the cutter block, and it ensures a safe working environment thanks to its intelligent monitoring.

Profile cutters can be inserted into the four cutter block seatings in both machines. Besides having the four TERSA grooves for planing, the cutter block of the Contour15 also has four additional dovetail groove seatings, in which profile cutters can be in­serted quickly and easily, to enable planing profiles up to 630 mm wide and 15.5 mm deep. The cutter block of the Contour25 has four grooves for corrugated knives, enabling a profiling depth up to 25 mm, as well as two TERSA grooves for planing.

The T45 Contour opens up an unimaginable range of new products and possibilities. Besides classic planing, you can e.g. profile complete church pews in one pass. Panels can be decorated with attractive profiles quickly and easily; grooved terrace deckings can also be "planed" in just one production step.

wherever wide profiles have to be produced in one pass.
