Pin Routers

Pin routers are used to rout-out edges and recess materials such as wood and plastics.

Normally running at high speeds of up to 30,000rpm this prevents cutters burning and gives a precise clean cut. Hand routers became common in the 1960’s with the more industrial pin routers becoming common place in the woodworking shop.

Pin routers are flexible inexpensive to run and take less floor space than the more modern CNC routers.
