Cross Cut Saws are ideal for cutting materials to length, mainly on wood across the grain. The cutting edge of each tooth is angled in an alternating pattern and this design allows each tooth to act akin to a knife edge to slice through the wood smoothly in contrast to a rip saw, which tears along the grain.

When not being used, cross cut slides can also be packed away effortlessly and quickly placed in the park position.
